Hello,
Any suggestions on family friendly complexes in a safe area that allow pets in the Penn school district. Looking ideally for a townhome or at least a private entrance and 3 bedrooms budget up to approximately $1800, my family won't be able to make a visit prior to relocating and looking to rent for 6-12 month before purchasing. Thanks for any " jumping off" point.

You won't find much in the way of townhomes in the Penn School District area, too rural and suburban. The closer to the old downtown of Mishawaka, or South Bend, the better your chances. There are a few in the Hertiage Square shopping district of Granger however, very new construction.

Try these, let me know what you think. I have lived in the area for most of my life, so feel free to ask me any questions!

Two developments I could think of, if you have the $$, are:

1) Grandview Flats and Townhomes
2) Toscana Park

Not sure if those are Penn district, but the Penn district doesn't really have those types of developments.

Thank you both for taking the time to answer, any insight on The Villas on Fir or Williamsburg on the Lake Complexes ( both List Penn as assigned school)?

If the Villas on Fiir is what I believe they are then they are brand new construction, and may not be entirely open. There is a lot of construction on Fir by the bridge that passes over the I80 toll road. Definitely very nice units located there, and fairly secluded. Williamsburg on the Lake is in Penn school district but struck me as your typical apartment community complex.

Thanks, holding out hope of finding a single family home to rent, but you've really helped with some options!
