I am moving to Evansville in the next week and was curious if someone could tell me about the ideal locations to live. I am looking for a nice 2BR apartment that runs about $700. It would be nice if the complex was near restaurants, a fitness center, grocery stores, etc. Any other information that might be relevant is welcomed. Also, if you could include any places to avoid, I would be appreciative. I am also looking for social service agencies that might be hiring.

Thanks!

Most of the restaurants and stores are on the Eastside, near Burkhardt Rd.

The Evansville Police Department has a crime map (" + theTitle + ") that I found very helpful when I moved here.

If you look at neighborhoods between Burkhardt & Green River Roads, that's where all the retail shopping and restaurants are. It's on the East side of Evansville.

I'm also moving to Evansville at the end of May but I went there a few weeks ago to look at houses.
