My family and I are moving to Carmel and will need to rent a house while we look to find a place to live. Anyone know where is the best place to start looking?

You might check with a local realtor. I know in our neighborhood (west Carmel) there are a few rentals all owned by realtors.

Craigs List is good place to start, if you contact a Realtor make sure you are looking for someone who specializes in property managment. Most Realtors only sell homes not rent them. Property Managers will likely only show you their inventory; it is not like buying a home.
Finding a rental can sometimes be very low-tech. Newspapers and good old driving around are sometimes the best.

Yes, have a nice 3 BR house in the Art/Design District of Carmel, private cul-de-sac, great neighborhood; walking distance to Carmel High School, downtown restaurants & shops & by the Monon Trail (railroad tracks converted paved walking/biking path. Please contact us if you are interested in looking at it.

If you are looking to rent a house you probably will need a realtor since renting full homes isn't that common in Carmel. that being said I do know someone whi is looking to rent out their fairly new three bedroom home just south of Clay Terrace Mall. If you're interested send me a message and I can get you the contact info.

We are going to be moving to Cincinnati, and need to rent our house out. If you are interested, email me back. 4 BRs, 2 1/2 baths. Right by Cherry Tree Elementary school!

Are you still looking for someone to rent your house?

If so, my family and I are coming into town in a week on a relocation stint and are looking to rent something in that area.

Thanks,
Ingrid
