I noticed a lot more leaves changing color west of Indy out toward Terre Haute this past weekend.

Were they close to their peak there?

It has been a very late year for the leaves to change color here in the Indy and surrounding area.

I think it's been so warm and dry as an explaining factor.

I always find that once several days of Fall rain occurs in a row, like we had this past week, you truly start to see the the leaves turn color. I think those rains ushering in cooler temps help.

I have 2 Red Maples in my back yard and both had been green up until this past weekend. Now as of last night both are turning bright red.

You said peak foliage on October 23rd. Where were you then?
