Don't know much about Todd Rokita. Never heard of the guy. I bought a home in Indiana recently and plan to relocate later this year. Thus, I am reading this board to gain information about the state.

How about you?

Omicron surge is hitting Indiana right now, similar to other states, but the state as a whole has a much lower vaccinated population in percentage terms:

No, I'm not saying that you or your friend lied. What I am saying is that anecdotes from a friend of a friend are basically useless evidence or concrete proof of larger trends most of the time. To use such evidence as "proof" of your statements about Covid vaccines is pointless.

For what it's worth, my entire family is vaccinated. None of us have been infected since being vaccinated. Furthermore look at the data from hospitals. Most Covid patients are unvaccinated.

Well, this points to a larger problem in that far more cases of Covid are not being reported by people that have already had the shot. Just found out today, two more people at work came down with it. And both have had the shot and at least one has had boosters. While these cases are not reported, they are happening and it should be noted that the "official" statistics being sent out by the CDC may not be accurate.

Or maybe.........and hang with me on this one........but maybe what it is pointing to is that vaccinated people are more protected from having to go to the hospital while unvaccinated people are not.

Wait, no, it couldn't be that. Let's hear more from the peanut gallery that thinks drinking their own urine is an effective method to fight COVID.

Yes, because the typical antivaxxer thinks urine therapy is totally acceptable

There are strange people out there no doubt. You can find them on both sides of the spectrum.

I read an article a while back pointing out that there were hospitals that had stopped reporting death toll numbers of those who were vaccinated, but we're still releasing death counts of the unvaccinated. At this point it's clear you can make any sort of point if you have enough data. Believe me I know, I work in data science.

I'm pretty well convinced that most people have taken a side at this point and couldn't be convinced otherwise. If you're vaccinated you're likely to believe that they're safe and effective and not consider any other possibility.

The doctors were perplexed by her issues given that they weren't related to covid and happened shortly after being vaccinated. There are healthy people being impacted by these vaccines (take cases of myocarditis in young healthy people for example). Health professionals rarely will EVER attribute the vaccines to being a factor here (for multiple reasons) but the you're seeing more and more strange cases arise in young people (professional athletes are prime examples) who have been vaccinated and boosted. Again, no doctor is going to come out and blatantly say it but when you see enough strange cases of people developing concerning conditions only AFTER getting vaccinated we (collectively) should stop and consider the possibility that the vaccine could be an influential factor here.
There are thousands of online reports of similar vaccine injuires. They are being ruthlessly censored. The first Facebook Vaccine Injury group was shutdown after it hit 120K members. A second vaccine injury group was created and it was shut down in June after it hit 60K members. These groups had a lot of very well documented reports of vaccine injuries and deaths.

The Severe Side Effects of the Covid Vaccine Facebook group with about 12K members was just shut down a couple of weeks ago.

People are being forced to move to alternate platforms to discuss covid vaccine injuries. The Telegram app is very active with groups like the Australian Frontline Nurses Group (t.me/FrontlinewWorkersSpeakOut) and the Covid Vaccine Injuries Group (t.me/covidvaccineinjuries).

Substack is also a great source of information. The new variant surge is not a surprise to anyone who has read Geert Vanden Bossche's work which is now on Substack. Alex Berenson and Steve Kirsch also contribute a fantastic amount of free info on substack.

Thank you and yes, the censorship happening on many platforms is just horrendous. The fact that saying a word like 'vaccine' on a YouTube video can get your content removed is utterly ridiculous.

Because there's a lot of quackery and misinformation that is literally killing people. You do realize that billions of shots have been administered worldwide? CDC data today shows a 20x greater probability of death for the unvaccinated vs. the vaccinated.

The vaccine is not causing deaths, Covid is.

According to the CDC, Fentanyl overdose is the leading cause of death for 18-45 nationally.
