If you have an interest in living in an area where there tends to be more jewish people. I would recommend west Carmel - which is anything between Meridian street and Michigan Ave. Very nice area. I think that tends to be more jewish than east carmel, Fishers or Noblesville

Thats true, but apart from the Village of West Clay there virtually no apartment buildings. There may be houses for rent though.

I'm assuming you have children and schools are an issue? You could consider the western side of Washington Township in Indy, which would put you in the area where a lot of Indy's Jewish community still resides. Synagogues and the JCC would all be close.

yes I am looking for a 4 bedroom due to 2 children and needing to set up office in home. I am supervising drivers for the whole city as well as muncie, anderson and to an extent lafayette so I figure I should be on the north side of town. I will be driving to noblesville at least 1 time a week too.

Thank you brg. I wondered where this thread went. Someone was looking out for us. Not the first time in my life either. We got to town and found a 4 bedroom townhome in carmel less than a week after getting here july 2010. This was a 2 weeks before school started. We moved in a few days later and are still in there. We will be looking to buy a home in carmel next yr. We are very happy in carmel and i am enjoying my new friends here.
