Hello all,
I am new here, and looking for an advise. I am 45 y.o., Russian, and can't get any job. I've been here long enough, but didn't really develop much of the network. I go to school, accounting major, but got really discouraged with the job situation.
I am ready to move anywhere, and take any job, just to pay my bills.
I have 2 small doggies. My daughter is here, she is 21 y.o., lives with the roommate. She tried to help me to find a job through her connections. but no results.
I have great experience with customer service, and work about 5 mo. in the accounting.
I got the money to pay my rent this month from my small retirement fund, but I don't know how long I will be without any job.
Please help with any suggestion. I would really appreciate your input.
I will forward my resume if you think you can critique it, or, better, can help with the job.
N.

Default Temp services

I would register with every temp service in town. These agencies provide no benefits but it is a way to make money. Jobs range from warehouse workers to management.

Assignments can last anywhere from a few day to several months. Many positions are what are called temp-to-hire. Work through the agency for a while and the company hires you with full benefits

I would apply online and then call to make an appointment to go in and register with them. Dress in business casual at least.

Adecco Employment Services
1099 N Meridian St # 185, Indianapolis, IN

Office Team

Kelly Services
201 North Illinois Street #390, Indianapolis, IN
(317) 638-3864

I would call them first, tell them you are looking for work and ask if you could submit a resume or what the best way to proceed would be to get a job placement with them.

Good luck and God's speed.

Maybemover96b!
Thank you for providing such a usuful info! I've thought I've registred with all - Accountemps. That's Good HR, Express Staffing, Elwood. In all of them I had to take Excel, Word, QuckBooks test (and I scored 75-90%)! But then silence. I will try those that you are suggested. Thanks again!
