Hello!

My family and I (husband and one year old son) are getting ready to relocate to Indy from Phoenix in the next month and a half. We are looking to purchase a home. I will be working in Carmel (Meridian and Carmel), and we have found a home that we love (in pictures!) in the Kingsley neighborhood in Noblesville. We're not going to make it out to Indy again until the beginning to middle of October (moving at the beginning of November), so we are considering making a site unseen offer on the property. We know that this is a risky move, but I am hoping that there might be someone here who is familiar with the area/neighborhood that can provide me with some advice. The home almost seems too perfect for what we want. I'm just hoping that that part of Noblesville is as nice as the rest... Any advice (other than not making an offer site unseen )?

Thanks!

I would recommend before you finalize the loan is take a look at the house. If its not good on the inside and out i would rent an apartment for a month and keep searching. Its better to be safe then sorry especially in this housing market.

We're actually looking at moving to Nobelsville from Lawrence and will be driving around that area a lot over the next few days. I'm not personally familiar with the Kingsley area; however, if you want to tell me what street it's located on I'd be happy to drive around the neighborhood and snap a few photos and let you know what I think if that would be helpful.

Sounds crazy to me Kingsley is a fine subdivision but it just depends on what your are looking for. The location is great as far as access to shopping and major road in Carmel and Noblesville. The subdivision is fine but might be considered just another cookie cutter neighborhood to some. There is a big church behind one side of the neighborhood, I would make sure you don't back up to that.
