They aren't that expensive my ex gf was paying less than 700 for a very spacious one bedroom. They also have nine foot ceilings.

Depending on what you are talking about- I would say move towards Irvington area or beech grove, some parts of lawrence is not bad or warren township. these areas i just said are on the east side, north east side, and south side Indianapolis. Some parts od down town are nice but can get high in rent. STAY AWAY FROM CENTER INDPLS. Trust me its kinda rough.... What ever your budget is i do not know. But if u can afford about 650-1000 a month you can find some really nice homes. not to many nice areas and homes are going for under 650 per month. if so there is a reason....

I'm not interested in living in the ghetto or pricey areas. I was looking at apartment complexes. If you have any suggestions, please respond. Also, my job would be located out of the city; between Edinburgh and Columbus I believe, but I don't mind and hour commute from Indianapolis.

If u r going to be between edinburgh and cbus choose cbus or at most as far north as franklin. No sense living out in irvington or even beech grove. Like all od us work will take up ur week. Better to live closer to work and partake the city on ur days off than spending windowshield time and gas travelling back and forth. Plus u would also be closer to bloomington for getaways as well.
