Has the hipster "craze" hit Indy yet? We currently live in Pittsburgh and though there are many things I like about this city, one thing I won't miss is the over infestation of hipsters...

There are some hipsters in Fountain Square, so-called South Broad Ripple, some along Mass Ave. I don't know that Indianapolis has the same hipster infestation you find in other places, but it does exist here.

Unlike Nerds which have a tendency to be somewhat non conformist, Hipsters are more into the Pop culture and conformity in their own manner.

Where I would expect to find them in any city. They are all over the place in Pittsburgh... Lots of skinny jeans, big fake glasses and bicycle riding (not that there is anything wrong with riding bicycles). Oh, and master degrees yet living on welfare to prove some type of point...

Back in my day you would've been called a dork for dressing that way. Now it's "hip"??
