I used to manage movie theatres and we delt with fights alot. You do it a few ways

Lots of uniform security.

Break up the big groups. When you see 15-20 people not moving a fight is about to happen.

Keep them moving.

We used to have fights in the lobby after the movies because they wanted to see their movie before getting kicked out. So we decided to not let the crowd come thru the lobby when movie ended. We sent them out the back. When they started fighting out there we added local police out there. Lots of them. Security inside. Police outside. They got the message and went home. The few waiting for rides and willing to walk back around to the front were allowed to wait inside.

They don't call that pit Lafayette Scare Mall for nothing. It was a dump back in the nineties -- I shudder to think of what it must be like nowadays.

That's a ridiculous hyperbole.

A couple of weeks ago, a bank was robbed on 86th & College, now a bank is robbed on 116th & Pennsylvania. It seems that my initial theory of crime spreading north is starting to make sense.

702 E 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240 to 2259 E 116th St, Carmel, IN 46032 - Google Maps

There was a bank robbery in Carmel back in 1998 where an employee was shot and killed.

I've worked in the industry for over 17 years. Any branch in the most upscale neighborhood is at risk if it offers quick access to a getaway route.

The '98 Key Bank killing of the branch manager was a domestic incident, if memory serves.

No, the killer had just been turned down for a loan and killed the loan officer. He also shot three of the other employees.

Here's the story: Four Shot in Ind. Bank Robbery (1998)

It sure wasn't a traditional bank robbery. Whitehead seemed to want revenge primarily. He executed a bank employee after she offered him an umbrella. Whitehead was 19 and the bank denied him a lone. How can they deny a loan to someone who is only 19
