The Indy Ice have a press release on their website about reno on one rink at Pan Am they are going to use. If I was at my PC I would link it. Personally, I wish they would bulldoze it and build something else.

I think there was a speedskating club and a curling club who used the ice too ....

That's still the long range plans for Kite. The Ice are going to manage the skating rinks but Kite still owns the whole property. Who knows when or if they will ever get around to rebuilding on it, but supposedly they want a high rise hotel and mixed use retail/office building.

I also did see that the rinks will reopen to the public as early as this summer.

Is it possible to incorporate their long term plans while keeping the ice rink? I don't necessarily see anything preventing it.
