It is very cool to see Lucas Oil Stadium host two giant European soccer clubs. Chelsea from England will play against Inter Milan from Italy in an exhibition match on August 1st. It is nice to see that Indianapolis is growing into a city that is developing slowly into a class of its own.

I was so excited when I heard about this too and can't wait to go to this game! If BRG was still here we'd be talking about when Indianapolis will host the World Cup lol.

Got mine as well. Even though I don't support either club, this is a big opportunity for Indy to show itself as a potential site for future World Cup qualifiers, as well as international and club friendlies.

Lots of American Chelsea supporters will be making the trip, especially those from the Chicago/Detroit/Louisville area.

Looked like a very big crowd going in. It'll be interesting to see the attendance numbers. Pre game estimates were saying in the 30,000 - 40,000 range. With the beautiful night tonight and the roof open --there may be a good walk up crowd to increase the numbers tonight. I'd love to see the number up around 45,000 ... or more. Tons of Chelsea fans all over town all day today.

Looked to be relatively full except for one end zone and the upper level.
