I found a church our family would like to be within reasonable distance to, Holy Rosary. Can someone direct me to a close hospital and decent neighborhood to raise an expanding family? How much would a 4 bd run in rent out there? Would my husband be able to find work as a union electrician? Me as a respiratory therapist?

Hr is se quad downtown in fletcher place. If schools are not an issue would be a nice area nut it is ips district. 5 hospitals 5-10 minutes away including riley for the kids. Hubby should be ok. Depending on the hospital you should be fine.

What is ips district? I have kids so schools r important unless private school is good/affordable/worth it etc. What is the better hospital to work at as far as happy/nice place to work? I already learned I'd rather work at a less paying hospital than one that pays well but the work environment is rough. Is this a safe area to raise a family?

IPS is Indpls. Public Schools.
Indianapolis Public Schools - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
IPS is headquartered on East Walnut, less than a mile and a half away from HR Parish, on Stevens. Arsenal Tech is right nearby.
Lumen Christi Catholic School is right there as well.
