Maybe, but what I'm seeing just looks flat-out crazy. Especially in a $350k home. And again, the thing that puzzles me is the sheer number of them.

Just stating the fact: here in Central Kentucky, red dining rooms are trendy, often with off-white woodwork and ceiling (and hardwood floors). Such dining rooms usually have traditional, sometimes regional antique furnishings: dining table, chairs, corner cupboard, sugar chest, Jackson press, etc.

Since red is supposed to enhance the appetite, this sort of wall color would seem counter-productive to anyone watching their weight.

I can't believe that nearly 1 in 4 walls is painted in an accent color in a time when that is the style of the times! what wacky people, painting their homes. they should be ashamed of themselves.
