I'm looking for an apt in the Wanamaker/Franklin Township area as it would be close to my new job. Does anyone have any advice/recommendations? I'm not looking for nightlife/bar scene at all. (Single male, budget is $650/month or so.) Thanks!

Not too many apartments down there. Would try beech grove area or around 65 and Southport rd depending on your budget.

I'm from Wanamaker and there are no apartments to really be had there except for off the Post Road Exit on 74, but no night life in the town. Beech Grove has a little more of a night life and is located closer to downtown so that wouldn't be a bad option. Southport is right outside of Franklin Township and is closer to more businesses and activity. If you are looking for a nightlife scene then about the only place that would be is downtown Indy. It is a quick drive from Wanamaker but the only problem is usually finding a cheap way home after a good night.
