I am taking a position in Columbus, Indiana and need recommendations for the best area to buy a home. I have two toddlers. We like older, established neighborhoods, but would choose a newer neighborhood if it were a better community option. Schools are also important to us. Any recommendations anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

Columbus places to live suggestion
Not knowing your specific financial purchasing power, I will assume you are looking for either entry level or middle priced homes. Guessing between $100K and $225K. I would recommend looking into neighborhoods to the north of Columbus downtown area, where both older and newer construction neighborhoods can be found. If you are looking for higher end homes these are mostly located in the Tipton Lakes area southwest of downtown Columbus.
