I have Comcast Cable. I don’t know if that will help or hinder your suggestions. But I have subscribed to TV Guide for the past ….. well … for decades. But the magazine has gone downhill. The TV listings for an evening are now listed on one page, hardly readable, and only half the existing channels are listed.

Where can I get adequate daily TV listings and information?

Do I need to go back to subscribing to the Sunday Indy Star newspaper just for their TV section? Do they still have one?

I just want to be able to open a paper, magazine, website (or what have you) - and see for every hour of one particular day – every channel that is available in Indianapolis (any cable system but I will settle for sorry Comcast), and every show that will be scheduled for that day on each channel.

Is this possible? Is this rocket science?

Who’s with me ???

TV Guide, TV Listings, Online Videos, Entertainment News and Celebrity News | TVGuide.com

I use an app on my phone called TV Listings that lets you put in your zip code, select your provider, and then customize what channels you want to appear.

"Hit the guide button on your remote."

I will try that again - I think I have done that before. Doesn't this only list the programs that are currently running on each channel at that point in time? I would like to know in advance what is on AMC or TCM or VH1 at 3 am in the morning.

The Comcast guide shows channel listings well in advance, by several days. I also listed just 2 out of hundreds of other ways to find out. A quick Google search will get you more even more.

Great advice. When I get home I will try it. When it comes to technology I am usually all over it - but I will be a little embarrassed to find out that all I needed to get was within reach by one button press.
