I have searched everywhere around Carmel and Fishers for a bakery that makes apple strudel. If you know of a place that sells some, I'd appreciate to hear about it. Thanks!

Have you tried Taylor's in Fishers on 116th? That's the only one I know of, but I'm not sure about the strudel.

I did actually, and they said they don't make it. Thanks though.

Inge's German Market in Fishers makes apple streudel. It's not far from Taylors.

Indianapolis German Restaurant, INGE's German Market & Deli (broken link)

You cold also give Cafe Heidelberg on Pendleton Pike a call.

Is Inge's still open? How about Cafe Heidelburg on around Pendleton Pike? Is it still open?

We get the frozen strudel from Trader Joes. It is wonderful.

Inge's website is still up ... haven't been in Fishers since June, so I'm just assuming.

Unfortunately, Inge's is no longer open in Fishers. I passed by last week and their sign was gone. Their phone number is out of service as well. A shame really, it was a great place. Maybe they are just relocating?

Heidelburg is definitely an option for all your German food needs, but I was hoping for something in Fishers or Carmel.

I think I'll just try making it myself first. If that's too much work then I'll definitely give Trader Joe's a shot, it's not far from home at all.
