I used to live in Indiana p, and then moved to chicago. I always thought that pacers games were boring and even the colts for how popular they were. I then started visiting other cities and moved to Chicago and started to realize how boring and low energy indy sports teams are. Going to a bulls game you feel an energy in the air and people are more into it. Colts and pacers games are full of older boring people there just for the novelty of being at a professinal sporting event that they go to once a year from their small towns. And the colts cheesy horse mascot is horrible. Even Browns football games have amazing tailgating and an energy and they suck. And for the record, I love indy, but just being real.

There is no God. People can't rise from the dead. Bunnies and eggs have nothing to do with Jesus. Happy Easter

I would say most midmarket teams are going to be this way.

Don't expect Indianapolis fans to be boastful, loud and boisterous, like LSU fans, or New Orleans or Houston, Chicago or Seattle. Hoosiers are a little too reserved and modest and humble to be boastful, loud and boisterous.

I disagree.

There are some fans like OP is describing, yes.

But I remember old RCA/Hoosier Dome used to get loud as hell. Indy has its share of loyal boisterous did-hards .
