In 2014 Carmel was rated #3 on the list for Best Places to Live for Families in the entire country so either things have changed dramatically in two years or you didn't make much of an effort.

You just lived in the worst possible place you could've for a person with kids. Stop acting like it reflects on the entire city.

Edit: Just read the last few posts on the first page and now realize we are dealing with a troll. Sorry for feeding it.

my thoughts exactly.

I have been doing a bit of research and Carmel sounds like a great place for families and the schools are all rated highly.

Please west Windsor nj,have u gone nuts.First of all no comparison only between princeton nj & Carmel Indianapolis.Half the kids in Carmel are obese, attend max 1 activity class. There is hell & heaven diff between Carmel & Princeton. Its like comparing rural USA with urban.Best place Carmel to say in senior living community & visit palladium, biking on Monon & dinner in downtown that's it.

A troll wouldn't be able to afford a $ 1800per month apt at the residence atCarmel city center. The salary structure is so low ,very few people can afford to pay that rent & stay for 1 yr.If Carmel is so family friendly, high salary how many graduates do u see from Purdue settling in so called "Carmel Indianapolis".

My experience families can't even afford $20 extra for class of 55 mts.A $60 summer class for 4 hers got cancelled due to lack of students(which is very reasonable rate). In "sur la table"atclay terrace mall ,kids cooking class only 4 kids during spring break.Only at Carmel dads club I saw some enrollment for basketball, but so many days cancellation that my child hardly learnt anything.Half the classes at Monon center gets cancelled due to lack of students.Only class which runs most of the time is swimming.

Nice try, but Carmel's median income is around $107,500.
