A carjacking, armed robberies, and this is in addition to the attack on WTHR's reporter.

These occurred in broad daylight and police say the crimes don't appear to be related.

I've worked in Lockerbie for eight years and up until now it has been relatively safe. My car has been vandalized twice and some of my coworkers vehicles have also, but no violent crimes until now.

When you arrive at work, do your co-workers greet you with "you left the house! It's a Christmas miracle!"

Interestingly enough, I was one of the few that did not request that security walk me to my car after work today.

Well--the resident Indy "word I'm not allowed to say on city-data that rhymes with knoll" will make sure we all understand that this is just an aberration. Nothing could possibly be wrong with Indy. It's the greatest city in the U.S.--don't you know.

Met my local police from commander on down tonight at the neighborhood Night Out picnic. Fire Dept also there with three pieces of equipment. They have monthly community days that are worth going to to share info.

Whether it's up or not may not even matter. The perception is that it is.

I noticed you haven't posted about the man who rammed a Fishers police car over the weekend, in broad daylight, disabled his own vehicle, and then attempted to carjack two other cars. Or the police chase in Fishers that ended in a manhunt with K-9 units on I-69 last week. It just seems lately you've been trying to point out all the bad stuff in Indy. It isn't confined to the area inside 465.
