Really surprised. Broad Ripple is quite walkable with a lot of foot traffic, but DT is no slouch either.

I've been hearing that Broadripple has really gone downhill last few years; any truth to that talk ?

There's been a few publicized incidents outside of bars in the wee hours of the morning, but nothing good is going to happen at 2 AM outside the college geared bars. I've never felt unsafe nor would I say there is any general decline.

The bar crowd has gone down hill I think. Everything seems great the rest of the time.

Broad Ripple is your place to go. I live in Fishers, it's very nice place for families but nothing more.
