Usually I'm on the other side of these posts. I need some suggestions please.

Our daughter is getting married in the fall. For a few unimportant reasons finding a location for a small rental space for a wedding shower has fallen to me. My guess is that about 30, more/less, people will attend.

Ideally we would like to rent a space and select our own caterer or provide food for a light lunch. Providing our own food would allow the shower to be a way to share the national/cultural background of the finance and my daughter.

Alternately we could do a restaurant with a private room.

Location: preference is Carmel/Fishers area, Northside, or downtown. East side would be fine also. Trying to avoid the west side and south side as my daughter lives in Carmel and the groom's family lives in Fishers. Also easier for other guests coming from Chicago. We're willing to look at any options though.
