The highway is 37. Those tracks have been abandoned for a few years. Before that they only ran occasional passenger excursions on weekends and from Fishers to the state fair for the 2 weeks that it is in town. Now Fishers and Noblesville have plans to tear the tracks out and put in a paved trail from 96th St to downtown Noblesville. I believe the Fishers portion is supposed to begin construction this year. Indy is also studying the feasibility of doing the same for the portion of the tracks that run in Marion County.

To update this, OP, Fishers just yesterday afternoon released the master plan draft for public input. It is supposed to be finalized in March with construction beginning next fall. You can get info about the trail replacing the tracks here. https://nickelplatetrail.com
