One thing I just thought about. In Northern Madison County there are people completely screwed as these large scale solar panel projects are buying/renting out hundreds of acres of farm land. On a recent road trip I see this isn't the only area dealing with such issues. Sounds like Shelby County is also having people at odds over these developments. Windmills are another thing that get debated. Also large scale confined feeding operations. Some of those can really stink up the surrounding area.
