Hello,

I am looking for 1 bedroom immediate and affordable safe place to stay for work at DFAS. My family is not coming for now. I am not familiar with the area. As such, I prefer 15-20 minutes driving distance.

Please reach out if you have something that will fit my needs or if you know of a place.

I need to move in on February 15th the latest.

Thank you

OP, I don't know of anyone on here who rents out rooms or apartments. Look on apartments.com.

If you can afford it, stay north of 56th. If you go very far south of DFAS, you'll be in the Post Road ghetto. The area north of Ft. Ben is nice, though, and that's a great park.

Basically just down the street from DFAS are two complexes to checkout:

The Fort Apartments: https://livethefort.com/

Harrison Place Apartments: https://www.steadfastliving.com/Apar...Harrison-Place

As others have said, stay north of 56th Street and drive thru any complexes and see if the vehicles are junk, the complex is dirty, etc..

This complex is a little to the NW of DFAS but I once read it was a good place. A62 Apartments: https://www.a62apts.com/

I used to drive by A62 on the way to work. It looks like a nice place.

Thank you. I am checking them out. Not too bad for driving distance.
