I'm a new Butler professor and my wife and I were just on the market for something similar. It really depends upon your price range (of course). Butler/Tarkington has some really nice places, but the price range for the good areas was well out of our budget. Broad Ripple is a great area, tons to do there, and you'll find some great places.

We actually ended up buying in Glendale (just east of BR) and got a 4BD that couldn't be more perfect for us. Happy hunting! There are lots of nice places out there right now.

I am selling what would be considered a bungalow on the south east side. It is a very established and safe neighborhood. It is my starter home but most of the people around me are retirees.
