Clay Terrace has a Yankee Candle Store Too. Kohl's sells some candles made by Yankee, but can't remember what they're called. Not sure if they're the same/as good.

I received one of these as a gift. I'm not usually a fan of "smelly candles, but the "vanilla" scented candle I have is great. Smells like real vanilla bean, not a fake chemical smell. Two thumbs up!

Around the holidays, Michaels had big 20oz jars of scented candles for 3/$10. I stock up around the holidays when they have those sales.
CVS, the drugstore, has some inexpensive ones. I really like their Cedarwood & Lavendar candles.
Freedom Glo has some of the best smelling candles I know. I don't know what you consider to be a reasonable price, but their Aroma Antics line smells great, and they certainly don't skimp on the scent. They even smell great when not lit. Their prices are $9 for 8oz, $12 for 16oz, and $15 for 22oz.
