Hi, I am a Labrador breeder in Central Ohio. A client is picking up her puppy and I offered to meet her about halfway. She is coming from Chicago, and we agreed that somewhere North of Indianapolis would be a good spot.
Is there a nice town with a recognizable landmark or restaurant that would suit our purposes?
We have gotten to know each other over the last couple of months by email, but have never met.

Meet at DC's Pub on Hwy 334 right off I-65 in Zionsville. There is a burger King there as well as a gas station.

I'd suggest Holland Park in Fishers, Indiana. It's not far off I-69 ....

That way you guys can meet and the puppy (which I'm sure is adorable ) can run around.

Thanks guys! Both sound ideal. I had this awful mental picture of driving for hours in circles trying to find someone I had never met, in an area I knew nothing about!
And the puppy sure is adorable!

If it's like most lab puppies, after being cooped up in a car for hours, it's gonna need to get some ya ya's out .... that's why I suggested Holland Park.

Or agree to meet up at a Petsmart of which there is one right off the Allisionville Exit on the North side of I465. Take the exit, turn left, turn right on 86th and the mall is right there on the left. The southwest corner of Allisionville and 86th. That way you can walk around and they can get some supplies right then.

You can get the address off the Petsmart website and do a Mapquest for an actual map. But it is only two blocks off the exit and easy to find. Would give both of you a place to warm up and walk around.

You people rock!! The meeting went off without a hitch. The chosen spot was easy to find and so was the client.
I can't thank you all enough!

LOL the Burger King in Zionsville. I had to be careful about where I let the puppy out to potty, so chose easy to find and probably not used by too many dogs. The pup wasn't old enough to have all her shots.
The client was coming down I65 from Chicago, so 334 made sense.
