I just wanted to give a warning the police are out in force on I-465.

From what I saw, most are in an unmarked Mustang GT with tinted windows. One I saw even had a custom paint job.

This is usually what I do also, but if you are the lead car you can still get pulled over since flow of traffic typically seems to be about 15 mph above the speed limit.

Flow of traffic is not sound advice.

One of the last tickets I got (many years ago) was on the highway where I was merely (at best) going the flow of traffic (as there were clearly other cars going faster than me), didn't have a flashy car either, yet and still I was the one getting a ticket.

Never more than 5 over the speed limit, that's the way to go, anything else is fixin' for a ticket (eventually, anyway).

While here, I just wish folks would stay at either the speed limit or a few over, too many drivers in Indy go too slow or too fast or plenty of times BOTH within the same driver on simple straight shot roads (with no rational reasoning behind their bipolar driving - ala a stop light, for instance).

I've spent 20 years driving in Indy and...the drivers here blow. It's one of the most annoying things about this city I find. Other than the NUMEROUS potholes (which has been addressed on City-Data about a hundred times already).

I go the speed limit or as much as 5 over, with perfectly consistent reasonable rational driving patterns throughout, thanks.
