Input from Indy natives would be helpful. Thanks.
i live in the area you should stay on i-70 if your vehicle is over 13tons you must use 465 around indy to the other side. keep in mind their is a major construction project going on on 70 you can not exit I-70 from mile 85-90 (exit 90 is 465) stay off 465 during rush hours traffic piles up really bad. 465 on the south side is always horrible so leave a little extra time but you should stay on 70 all the way

If you're in a car, stay on 70 the entire way through. before we moved to Columbus (IN) from Fishers, I actually stayed on 70 through downtown and took the south split onto 65 and made it there and back faster than if I would have taken 465 around mainly because of all the semis having to go on 465 and blocking up the on and offramps.
