Creating FB page for nonprofit (e-mail, work, Word, website)

I am going to create a FaceBook account for a small non-profit that is doing work in Haiti. The almost daily reports from the field can be pretty lengthy. What is the best way to post them? Could I post excerpts and include a link to the entire e-mail post? If so, how? Would I create a blog through another site and link to that? Can anyone give me advice on the best way to do this?

You could probably write a Note and share it as a status. However, I would also have a separate website. You should check out Wordpress if you don't want to deal with geeky HTML stuff.
