I like Delicious because it's a great place to keep all of my bookmarks in those times that I have to reinstall my operating system.

I'm trying so hard to care, but the fact that Yahoo is practically useless to me much like all of the sites listed is preventing that.

I still subscribe to a few Yahoo groups, and use their IM quite frequently, but these services are a dime a dozen nowadays, making competition rather difficult.

I remember when I temped for them back in 2001 for Yahoo Personals (when it launched) they had already shut down other ventures that came up bust and laid off 1,000 workers then. They seem like they can never just keep up and their ideas come on deaf ears after a few years. Ever since Google imerged, yahoo has just taken a back seat to everything. Now Yahoo Personals is gone.
