I have a great Power Point Presentation about Astronomy(it's about 6 MB's) that I'd like to add to my opening post in a thread in the Science Forum.

I tried to use the attach feature but when I uploaded the slide show link I received "invalid file".....is there any way to attach the presentation to my opening post for other posters to click on and see the slide show?????

Would it work IF I uploaded to PhotoBucket first????? And then uploaded to CD???????

THANKYOU.

No, I'm sorry but our software doesn't accept these files as attachment for security reasons. You can upload it somewhere else and post a link, though.

Probably photobucket doesn't accept powerpoint files, either. You might try Google Docs, but I'm not sure about that, either.

You can upload a PDF, so can you convert your presentation? I can't remember if Adobe offers a free trial for a PDF writer, but I've seen demos and trials on other sites.

I'm not sure........it was sent to me through an e-mail....I copied it to my scan folder.

I do have Adobe......Adobe Air etc......I'll check their website.

Also I'll see if Marka's idea works.....

Again THANX everyone for trying to help.

It says it accepts zip files so you could save it as a zip file but it looks like you would be over the max file size.

Try one of the online file sharing sites like 4shared.com - free file sharing and storage

As far as pdf, no need at all for any adobe trials, there are plenty of free pdf printers out there, cute pdf comes to mind, it basically installs as a printer and outputs a pdf document.
