Chrome is too minimalist for me. I'm still enjoying firefox.

Firefox, for me, is a lost cause. The browser freezes up for ten seconds or so while loading ordinary news sites on relatively swift PCs (3-4 years old Core 2 Duo/Quads). No plugins activated. It just seems to worsen and worsen with every upgrade. Behavior observed on not only my PC. Switched to Opera.

Latest version of FF here with no problems at all. Your problem probably isn't FF.
