I am trying to make a google map with different color pushpins in a city. I have the street addresses, but I can't find a way to enter data so I can pull up my google map on demand.

Anyone done this?

Don't know if this would help, but this is for a draft business plan for planned locations. The different pushpin colors would be business location sales volume.

Do you have a Google Account?
I think you have to have one to make a custom map.

You need a geo-coding tool, like Create Maps | BatchGeo to do this. AFAIK, the capability is not built in to Gmaps.

I am pretty sure it is built in IF you have a Google account.

Example:
Olympic Host Cities - Google Maps

You must have an account to create custom maps.
