does this have to do with somebody The Google knows who died that they are wearing a black patch over their name? Whoever it was it seems I hadly knew 'em.
I kinda wanted Google, Facebook, and Amazon to do a complete blackout. Not just show support with a link, but completely disable their services for a day. That would really send a message. Although I'm sure they would lose a whole lot of money.
They should only Black Out (block) those who are supporting this new BS law!
They should find the IP addresses of the Senators offices, homes, etc. and only block their @ss!
But on a more serious note, I do agree, all sites -wisely- opposing it should do a complete black out for a day or a complete weekend or heck even for a week if possible otherwise, before you know it, it will be not much different than China.

They'll probably contact the phone numbers demanding to know why Wikipedia is blacked out. Gives me a chuckle to think of how annoyed the reps will be.
