9 personal or business accounts - Gmail - cause gmail is the best free mail solution IMO
1 corporate account - my company's exchange server, which I manage
2 corporate accounts - my parents' awards business, @theirdomain.com
For home/ personal use it's
me @ my personal domain
We realized a number of years ago that we weren't going to keep any particular ISP, and using free email wasn't for us, so we got a personal domain for the specific function of never having to change email addresses again.
For business use
me @ my business domain << I have 5 or 6 different domains for different service areas.
I also have a client that requires that I have a company email
me @ my client's domain
For anyone that might spam me, things like facebook, or a few rare things that I only want to go to my phone,
I currently own 46 domains, and I have literally hundreds of email addresses... but if I had to pick, my primaries would be my business email, followed by myname.tld, then a free service (like hotmail/yahoo/etc) and then gmail. I only use the gmail because it's tied to my android phone. The free one I've had since the mid '90s, and it's just tied to too many things to get rid of.
Our main email is gmail because we are planning on a move in the not too distant future and the ones tied to our ISP will go away. We have been weaning those people/businesses we want to continue hearing from to those accounts and anyone else will be sending email to non-existent accounts after we move.
I no longer have business email accounts since I closed it when I retired. I still have a netscape email addy that I've had forever and it's the one I use for responses I'm not inrterested in or possible spam.
There are a few others floating around that I rarely use, but check on once in a while.
Overwhelmingly a worldwide domain. I too use Gmail mostly.
I ask, because I know many people in my group which uses the email addresses provided by their ISP. In Canada, I see @shaw.ca and @telus.net quite a bit.
I could sign up for 10 ISP email address if I want, but Gmail is my master. :P
