They can't block your internet there. Also, they won't be able to monitor your browsing habits or read your email. I'm sure you're looking for information on setting up a proxy, but this isn't the right place and you don't seem like someone who can be trusted with such information. What do you do, btw?

We are only allowed to access sites that pertain to our work. Somehow I am still able to access this site! Anyone know of a way to bypass the firewall they put up?
Buy an IT guy a couple of cases of Red Bull and a few dozen Krispy Kreme donuts.

If you really feel a strong urge to waste time on the internet while you are supposed to be working, get a smartphone. If you are in range of a wi-fi hotpost that has no blocks on sites, bring a laptop or tablet to work and use it. Cell phone providers can also provide tabelts with 3g/4g access, and devices that will allow laptops to connect to the internet via. cellular connnection.
Sounds like your employer needs to go ahead and fire you and get someone who has better work ethics. Its a shame employers have to babysit their employees and block websites in the first place.

You do know that in one of the servers there is a log of your actions. Also the system will sooner or later flag you and someone will pull your history log. If its bad enough, then one day you'll be logging on and get an access denied or invalid login screen. At that point expect security to visit you. If you value your job then stop what your doing, if not then just make sure you have no personal items at your desk as its going to be a quick five minutes as you are escorted from the building.
