Or did you mean 4Mb(it)

ISP's advertize in Megabits for the simple reason it is a bigger number than if they advertize in Megabytes (each byte = 8 bits), plus the industry standard is that transfer speeds are expressed in bits, storage capacity in bytes.

6 is plenty to stream what you want. The only thing you will have issues with and which no one has brought up is USAGE! Comcast has a cap and if you're streaming all your TV/Movie content you best believe you will hit that cap in a month.

You have to stream a lot of stuff to reach most caps.

I watch stream Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu stuff a lot, and a lot of it in HD, and can view my usage graphs on my DD-WRT router and have never gone over 200 Gig in a month.
