I have been constantly getting a msg like this:

INTERNET EXPLORER HAS STOPPED WORKING

It will either drop what I am working on/in or after a minute re-open the page

It even happens on FIREFOX.?

I use AVG as a Firewall or virus protector.

No, I am not a computer person per say.

Help.

While you're on the Microsoft site, download MSE and run a complete scan on your system....

You don't need to scan. Just do the first part of Phill's post. THis has been happening a lot lately. I think MS actually screwed something up. The reset fixes it.
You can also take the easy route and run FIXIT from here.
Don't choose ERASE MY PERSONAL SETTINGS either.
