Firstly plwit there is vast amount of places you're going to find bad or misleading information, secondly I don't particularly like that site. It's far too commercial for me to even consider bothering with it.

Yep, the notices on newer DVDs are much better. I'm referring to older DVDs which tend to say things that do not accurately reflect the actual rights held by the copyright holder.

Read and learn before spouting off further, please. IANAL, but I'm also not a novice when it comes to dealing with copyright law.
