The only place I found those two lines was a completely different file.
They weren't in my State Local file at all.
I added them and saved. It reverted to and deleted the two lines.

I run 7 on 3 of 4 computers. XP is on a dying machine.
All now go straight to .de and translate no matter what I do.
I'm dumb but not this dumb.

I might make them all "igoogle" - I'll try later.

From reading your posts on CD I doubt you're dumb. You just have a computer that is being obnoxious. I'll do some more snooping.

Try the last solution on this page. Google Groups The one with 9 steps. You should also check a couple of the other ideas such as clearing cache and

B) Make sure google.com is your default search site. Go to Options/Settings - Basics - Search - Manage Search Engines. Look for google.com and make it default if it isn't already.

And notice there is a link to Google Groups on the page that may lead to other ideas.
