Just got hit by this virus last night, and wanted to warn people about it. I was browsing drudgereport.com and then opened some other links kinda multitasking when all of the sudden my computer screen went to a full blown warning from the FBI, saying I had to pay some $400 fine to unlock my computer due to illegal activities. It is called the FBI MoneyPak virus. I just wanted to say that I was afraid that I had done something wrong and was headed to prison for the list of violations they had on the screen for me to read. I thought some hacker had planted things in my computer. Then I relaxed and told myself it was going to be ok because I know I didn't do anything wrong and this was probably a virus, and after researching on the internet connection on my phone I found it was a virus. It can be easlily removed. Here is a link to describe what happens if you get infected by this virus...

Technically it's not a virus, and yes other people have been infected by it as there are a couple threads on here discussing it.
