Of course there is already an article from Computerworld on how to get around it:

I don't condone piracy or the business practices of the large media corporations. That said it's been humorous watching the RIAA/MPAA playing the world's largest game of Whack-A-Mole for almost two decades now. At some point they have to come to the realization that damn mole is going to pop his head out of some hole. The legitimate consumers are just as much to blame accepting the restrictions placed on what they buy.

This is better than suing people randomly to make headlines. They can target more offenders. It is sad that it has come down to this.

In the long run they are screwed any way since the more aggressive they get the more anti-copyright parties are going to win European elections and get entrenched and without Europe on board any real enforcement is going to be pretty much impossible.

I don't condone piracy which is theft, but that's only five ISP's. My isp barely provides service as it is, any slower and it would stop.

This measure is to reduce US residents from circumventing copyright law. It's not about shutting down the scene.

These five service providers cover the majority of residential internet subscribers. There's room for expansion if necessary.

You don't think they will try to export it to the rest of the western world? Either way if this is true I would not want to be a Starbucks or hotel manager in the foreseeable future.
