City-Data Photos Not Displaying Using Firefox (CD, laptop, work, settings) - Internet - - City-Data Forum

I'm pretty active in the CD Photography forum but find that I don't see photos of some posters. It seems that a few upload their photos from their Facebook account and these are the ones I don't see...I don't even see a link in their posts.

I am currently using Firefox as my browser.

However, when I use Chrome or even IE, I can see those photos okay. I've searched everywhere on my settings for Firefox that I can change but am lost and can't find any. I'm used to Firefox and don't want to use Chrome if I don't have to. Help?!

Here's an example of a post by Kathryn Aragon. I can't see any of her photos using Firefox. I can see it if I use Chrome or IE.

Can you reach Facebook normally? Is it blocked by OpenDNS or your company network or anything like that?

I am using my personal laptop and can access Facebook freely. I have not really blocked any sites. In fact I deliberately included City-Data in permissions by setting CD to Allow.

What version of FF are you running?

I see that photo just fine in FF 19.0.2

Same version 19.0.2 Could it be AdBlock that's causing this?

Maybe, but I run ABP and still saw it.

I'd start by disabling all of your add-ons, and check the page. If it works then re-enable them one at a time until you find the culprit.

Did it but it didn't work.

I'm the same way, I couldn't see them in your follow-up post either. I figured I'm not missing much. I also use FF and figure it's probably ABP blocking them.
