haha. given this, I just logged into my AOL Mail for the first time. I don't think I ever have, ever. I've only used my login for AIM.

haa yeah I read that on cnn. I'd have fired him too but then again I don't get why it's news. AOL is yesteryear's news..


..Unless they are planning a comeback!

I first used AOL on a PC running PC-DOS in 1993. It was really cool. I used various versions of it (mostly for kids) with dial-up service until I first got broadband in 2002. ("Kids, get off the computer. I need to use the phone.")

I still have my original AOL ID, which I use occasionally to log onto AIM. Just a very simple "jsmith@aol.com" (not my real ID), not jsmith12345 or anything like that. Hard to come by those kinds of IDs these days.
