Interesting replies here. "Take a screenshot." "Everything is AS-IS." You know what? These don't answer the original question. I know, you guys are trying to be helpful, but you aren't. Try harder. Actually answer the question.
How can a deleted or flagged or otherwise unavailable Craigslist ad be retrieved? We all know that anything that goes on the internet never truly goes away. Surely a cached version of a Craigslist ad is obtainable without having to use a subscription service!
That looks awesome Elnina and makes sense why it would work.. (Well might)
Its sad it didnt work for him.....
That will only work for a short time for a variety of reasons. As you browse the browser will store new files, the older ones are purged. Cached files also have expiration date, a site like this will have no cache set because the content changes rapidly.

So...can ANYONE here give simple layman's terms way to retrieve an old page?
There is a car that I am interested that I am about to look at was actually purchased just a week ago on Craigslist - the new owner just relisted it to flip it.
The old list listed some issues with this car - I think he bought it for around $950 and is trying to resell it now for twice that. I can't find the ad for the car when he bought it but I THINK it had a fairly major issue with it.
Is there any way I can find the ad from a week ago from when the old owner had it listed (prior to this new seller)??????
