Apps that will check your blogs for you all at once (desktop, work)

There are 4-5 blogs which I read regularly but they are updated at random times.
Is there an Android app and/or Windows program that will keep a list of all the blogs and alert me everytime a blog is updated?

There are lots of them.

I used Feed Reader on the desktop for years:

But now use Feedly.
Feedly is web based, and has a Android app.

You can also use Hootsuite for that.

I tried Feedly on my Android phone. It's sometimes clumsy or confusing, but I can get it to work.
It won't add some of the blogs I use. If you read an article through Feedly, it is slower and puts plus/minus zoom buttons that are unnecessary and don't respond.
I might use it just to alert me to the updates but won't read the articles through it.
